Village Committees

*     Village Council - The Village Council is our governing body, determined by Village owner elections and has one member that represents Village owners on the Master Association Board. Our Village Council regular monthly meetings are open to all Village owners and invited guests. In April and Novemberl the Council meetings are replaced by Member meetings. Prior notification to address the Council is always required. Date, time and location of meetings are listed on our calendar.

·        Architectural Committee– Frank Mamrol, Chairperson – assists, recommends and monitors Village members and our managing agent in compliance with Village Rules relative to the aesthetics of the Village's building exteriors, roadways and other infrastructure. For required forms click here.

*   Maintenance Committee - Dave Freese, Chairperson - assists, recommends and monitors Village member and our managing agent in compliance with Village Rules relative to the on-going upkeep and maintenance of the Village residences' exteriors and other Village-owned common property and grounds (other than Landscape Committee activity).

·        Holiday Decorating Committee – Ken Tunnelll, Chairperson – plans and coordinates the beautification of our Village both at its entrance and throughout the Village during traditional holiday seasons.

·        Landscape Committee – Janet Freese and Judy Snyder, Co-Chairs – relative to conformity with the standards and guidelines as set  down in the Village Rules, the Committee reviews, counsels and  pre-approves homeowners' requests plus handles problems and concerns developed through Committee activity as well as those referred by our managing agent, Village Council and/or our contractors.

·        Nominating Committee – Ed Gondolf and Fred Bachman, Co-Chairs

·        Social Committee – Anne Gustafson, Chairperson – plans and coordinates our Village summer picnic at the pool and December holiday dinner party as well as other events throughout the year

·        Welcome Committee – Jane Clark and Ken Tunnell, Co-Chairs – arranges face-to-face introductory sit downs with all new Village residents

Hershey's Mill Master Association - The Hershey's Mill's common areas and interests are administered by the Hershey's Mill Master Association. Our Village is represented on this Master Association governing body by one of our Village Council members, usually the President. Various Village members volunteer on Master Association committees and are active in its facilities' management and affairs. The members of the Master Association's Board of Directors consists of President Pat Erickson, 1st VP Bob Greco, 2nd VP Boyd Mackleer, Secretary Carolyn Eagan & Treasurer Harry Staller. Excerpts of the Master Association's deliberations and actions are presented in each monthly edition of the Channel 20 TV Guide & Digest. Per Pat Erickson, the meetings of both the Master Association and its Board of Directors are closed to Village members as well as the public. Our Village Declaration of Covenants and Easements, By-Laws and Rules are consistent with, but secondary to, those of the Master Association. .
